Nulla est via regia ad geometriam.
There is no royal road to geometry.
I use mathematics here in two ways: as the instrument the physics runs on, and as something I study for its own sake. Most of these pages are definitions, short proofs, and worked examples I want to be able to reconstruct later.
Emphases
- structure and algebra
- analysis and approximation
- geometry, topology, and the shapes of reasoning
- the formal grammar needed by theoretical work elsewhere in the notebook
Use
This section gathers definitions, short lemmas, worked examples, and links outward into physics, graphics, and computation.
Current Tracks
- Abstract Algebra: a Fraleigh 7e study track with chapter notes, counterexamples, a commuting-friendly flashcard deck, and a dated midterm sprint.
